How to volunteer

If you have a car, some spare time and are keen to help other Oxshott residents, why don't you join us?  You can help out as little or as much as you want. More details about how we operate can be found in For volunteers

If you would prefer to speak to someone, please call 07950 478329 (Mon-Fri 9am-12 noon).

“For me, it’s been a genuinely rewarding way to support the local community. Elderly or infirm residents can face significant logistical challenges and associated costs just to get to and from medical appointments, especially if they aren’t able to drive themselves and don’t have relatives living nearby who can help. I can solve these problems with just my car and an hour or two of my time.”

“No special training is required and there’s never any pressure to take on assignments that don’t fit in with my other commitments. I’ve always been given plenty of notice and all the information I need to provide assistance. Everyone I’ve helped out has been good company and very appreciative of the service, and I’d recommend anyone with a driving licence and a bit of time to spare to get involved.”
